Who is RBA?

1994

We started in 1994 as a full service architecture and interior design firm. Clients like Nike, AAA Washington auto club, Coldwell Banker Bain and a host of technology companies trusted us to get it right.

2000

Marks our first furniture sales. As early adopters of sustainable design, we matched our clients needing furniture with excess furniture our existing clients had to dispose of.

2006

Safeco sells Redmond campus to Microsoft. RBA decommissioned the furniture and used it to furnish the new King County Chinook office building. The project includes 1,600 refurbished cubicles and support furniture - all delivered on a fast track schedule

2007

RBA Furniture is set up as a corporation to further identify it as a separate brand. Projects that include full service design services and furniture become our forte.

2017

RBA Furniture adds architectural walls to their scope of products.  Avalara, a company RBA helped accommodate growth from 85 to over 600 employees, is our first major wall client.  The turn key project includes design of two full floors and provisioning of furniture and glass walls.

2019

RBA provides furniture for the new King County Children and Family Justice Center. This $3M project consists of four floors of furniture.

2020

Marks a new challenge for everyone in America. RBA responds by becoming a manufacturer of COVID screens to keep essential workers, including the King County Elections facility, safe and on the job.
